6/10/10 Day 2 Round 1 of the Table A competition-
First to go clear in the show jumping in the World Equestrian Games, held in Kentucky USA- Chris Chugg & Vivant do their usual celebratory canter pirouette for the crowd.
With a great jumping round from all Australian members in the Table A Round 1 with only 4 faults being added to the overall team score, Team Australia has jumped from 14th place after the Speed Competition to 7th in the World Standings.
5/10/10 Speed Event - Australia's first rider was Chris Chugg: he rode into the ring and after a hesitant start seemed to grow in confidence as he made his way through the first and second lines and after pushing Vivant hard at the water, Chris misjudged the green gate vertical and had the rail down. He recovered well to clear the next fence and went about completing his work with no further faults – a solid time of 80.41 seconds but the 4 seconds to add. Team Australia are currently placed 14th on the scoreboards, with a combined total of 17.87 faults.
29/9/2010 Grand Prix Special - Jaybee Alabaster & Rachael Sanna scored 67% in their dressage test to place 27th in the World.
Horse Deals snippet:
"Rachael Sanna was also "very pleased" with her test on Jaybee Alabaster. Alabaster became spooked down the first centreline when someone collecting score sheets darted behind the judges box, the chestnut gelding would not trot out of the halt. With the initial marks for the entry putting Rachael on 43.00% her experience showed as she worked hard to claw back the marks and finish with a respectable 67.00%. Rachael did a fantastic job and Alabaster showed the world how much potential he really has."
29/9/2010 Grand Prix Team Event - Rachael & Bastie scored 68.809% and were placed 23rd. Team Australia were 8th Overall after combined results from team members.
